Lizzy is a special needs puppy who was taken from an Abuse case. She was left in a tiny little cage since birth and was never allowed to walk and build up muscle in her feet and legs. She was starved and her growth is stunted. After many months of care and a highly nutritional diet and vitamin substitutes she is walking and getting stronger.She can get along fine by herself and is just a normal pup, other than she will never be able to go for long walks or hikes. She needs to be a indoor dog and have a soft backyard lawn to walk on. Her feet drag when she walks so walking on concrete will make them slightly bleed.. Lizzy is playful, lovable and fun. She enjoys car rides and likes to look out the window and feel the air in her face. We are looking for a home owner that is not too active but wants a sweet dog for a companion. She is the favorite at her vets office and the whole staff love when she comes to visit.
