Charlie was abandoned by his owner at 6 months old when it was discovered he had a bad heart murmur. We raised thousands of dollars and got Charlie the surgery he needed. Now he is fine but needs to be on an inexpensive blood pressure pill twice a day for life. And Charlie is DEAF. He is just a chunky friendly guy who walks around the vets office with cats and little dogs and greets everyone coming in. He is a little bit afraid of big dogs. We want to place him in a stable home without other big aggressive dogs because being deaf he cannot hear if they growl a warning to him and he could be badly hurt. Charlie has an entire fan club at his vets office and is a well behaved dog. His Cardiologist said he should live a long normal life. I own a deaf dog and she is the best watchdog I have. She can smell if anyone comes around long before my other dog can hear a noise. Charley will be a loving companion to one lucky family. Email for an application.
