Pixie has a sad story with a happy ending...this sweet loving little dog was pulled from the SB CIty shelter....a very hardcore place with bad neighborhoods, high sickness and low adoption rates...Just making it out of the shelter is a miracle in itself but Pixie had a much bigger battle to fight. Her little body was completed embedded with foxtails and they were very infected...she also had to be rescued and chances were slim...One of my fosters heard about this little gal and went to her rescue. After lots of vets visits, medication, and tender loving care, Pixie is as good as new...She has been altered, current on shots and micro-chipped.
