Duke was rescued from the shelter after he was left there by his family at the age of about 14. Although Duke is an older gentleman, he still has a lot of love left to give. Duke gets around just fine despite some hearing loss and cataracts. He is house trained and like anyone in their golden years, is a champion napper, but also enjoys short walks. Duke is currently on a diet geared toward keeping his liver enzymes low but he LOVES to eat. He is a very chilled out guy and loves to be petted and snuggled when he isn't napping or eating.
