Pekingese : : Male : : Young : : Small Learn more about the Pekingese.
Bentley is the sweetest little guy, a purebred 3 yr old male neutered Pekingese with a sparkly healthy cream sable coat. He is low key, cuddly and a very easy going dog that is super easy to take care. He loves to nap on a big soft blanky and just kind of trots around in the yard, sniffing and checking things out. Great temprement, good with other dogs, cats, birds etc. This little guy was found on the streets and no one ever came to claim him. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all shots including 3 yr rabies, bordetella and DHLPP. If you want a super quiet little companion Bentley is the one for you. Please email for an adoption application....he would love to have a family of his own very soon. UpDATE: Bentley. He was a lost or abandoned dog so we knew nothing about his history. After fostering him for a couple of days I noticed at times he had an issue with his back leg...it does not happen all the time, just on occasion when he was trying to move fast and get out of the way of my bigger dogs he would scramble a bit like he was running but not moving. I became concerned and took him to my vet for an exam . My vet explained that Bentley has a genetic defect in one of his rear legs called Patellar Luxation and was probably born with this defect. This leg can move in both directions at the kneecap. The limitations on this means that Bentley should be a house lapdog and not rough house with stronger bigger dogs. Bentley is very happy to be right next to your side or on your lap. He likes to go outside for awhile, snooping around then wants to come back inside. He loves his soft doggy bed, any type of food ( and Cookies) and lots of cuddling. I think with his personality he will be fine and would do well indoors with a small yard. He is a perfect little gentleman, housebroken getting an A+++, no accidents ever, not even lifting his leg. He is pretty quiet and very rarely barks More about BentleyGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
